Difficulty

Biking

For your convenience, we allocate different difficulties to each tour starting from 1 – 4. Some of the day’s stages are more or less demanding. Please find further information concerning the difficulty of the tours in the corresponding travel itinerary.

Beginners (40 km – 55 km per day)
A flat route with only some ascents makes this tours especially for beginners attractive.
Training (50 – 65 km per day)
Due to a constant change of flat and hillier landscape, you should bring a basic persistence.
Qualification (60 – 75 km per day)
These itineraries are more demanding and you have to bike more kilometers each day. A solid and good physical condition is obligatory.
Championship (70 – 100 km per day)
These stages are very demanding and are better to complete with racing bikes or mountain bikes.

Hiking

Comfortable walks
The comfortable walks are especially suitable for people looking for relaxation next to the daily hiking stages. You hike on good prepared hiking trails. The daily stages are between 3 and 4.5 hours.
Hiking
You can expect comfortable walks on good prepared hiking trails without technical demands. Your daily hiking stages are up to 5 hours (sometimes a little bit longer) with minimal altitude difference. For these tours, you should be fit and have a solid persistence.
Mountain hiking
The altitude differences and the distances are bigger and you hike on hiking paths. You should be surefootedness and free from giddiness in some points. Your daily stages are between 5 and 7 hours and smaller summit ascents are possible. You should bring a good persistence and physical condition so you can conquer the alpine paths.
Trekking
Depending on your itinerary, you hike between 1,500 and 2,000 meters difference in altitude on sometimes stony paths. Surefootedness, head for heights and an excellent physical condition are the requirements for these kind of tours. The daily stages can take up to eight hours. We recommend a good equipment.
